Ink-Splash Creamer Jug
Ink-Splash Creamer Jug is a wheel-thrown with pulled spout and loop handle custom pieces in warm cream matte base with cobalt-and-iron splash mark glaze, handmade at Mita Pottery Studio, Rakkar, Himachal Pradesh. ₹750. One of one.
Morning chai needs a companion — something small that pours well and sits quietly on the table without demanding attention. This little jug is that thing. The ink-dark splash down its side looks accidental, like rain on paper, and that is exactly right.
Thrown on a fine-speckled stoneware body, the cylindrical walls carry a pulled spout and a neat loop handle. A single gestural mark — cobalt blooming into iron-brown — was brushed on before firing to around 1220 °C. The interior wheel rings are visible from above, and the matte cream glaze stops just short of the foot ring.
