Handmade ceramic vases and vessels
Vases for a single stem or a fistful of whatever is flowering. Thrown tall on the wheel and narrowed at the neck, a shape that asks for more centring than it looks — the taller the wall, the less forgiving the clay.
Some are glazed to the foot, some left raw at the base so you can see the stoneware body the piece is made of. They are watertight, and they are also perfectly good empty, which is how most of them end up living.
