Snow Crackle Belly Mug
Snow Crackle Belly Mug is a wide-bellied mug with pulled handle mugs in off-white with fine crazing and faint speckle glaze, handmade at Mita Pottery Studio, Rakkar, Himachal Pradesh. ₹700. One of one.
The same form as before, but quieter. A glaze that looks like the first frost on the studio window — all fine craze lines and pale warmth. Made for slow mornings when nothing needs to be said.
Wheel-thrown with the same generous belly and compact pulled handle, this mug carries a single off-white glaze that has crazed finely across the surface at cone 6, creating a delicate network of lines. The interior shows scattered iron specks in the clay body beneath a clear gloss pool. A faint trace of cobalt speckle is just visible on the exterior shoulder — a whisper from the same glaze session.

“That unplanned swirl, that crooked handle — they are the story of the hour spent making it.”
