Red Dot Botanical Trinket Dish
Red Dot Botanical Trinket Dish is a shallow wheel-thrown dish with organic rim plates in warm cream gloss with red dot field and dark botanical stem centre glaze, handmade at Mita Pottery Studio, Rakkar, Himachal Pradesh. ₹850. One of one.
This dish began as a thought about pressed flowers and country notebooks — a single botanical stem standing straight at the centre, surrounded by a field of hand-dotted red. It is the kind of piece that ends up holding a ring, a safety pin, a small stone from the path outside.
Thrown on the wheel and allowed to settle into a gently uneven rim, the shallow form rests in a warm cream gloss glaze fired around 1220°C. The stem at the centre and the scattered red dots are painted underglaze by hand — each dot its own small gesture, no two at exactly the same distance.
