Cream Speckle Bud Vase
Cream Speckle Bud Vase is a Wheel-thrown with narrow neck and rounded belly vases in Warm cream gloss with fine speckle, unglazed lower band glaze, handmade at Mita Pottery Studio, Rakkar, Himachal Pradesh. ₹250. One of one.
One stem of something. That's all this asks of you. A sprig of rosemary from the garden, a single marigold from the road, or nothing at all — just the shape of it on a windowsill in the afternoon light.
Wheel-thrown from a speckled stoneware body, the form swells gently at the belly before narrowing to a small open mouth. A warm cream gloss glaze covers the upper two-thirds, leaving the lower body and foot in the natural clay tone. Fine iron speckle reads through the glaze. Fired to approximately 1220°C (cone 6).
