Celadon Cloud Vessel
Celadon Cloud Vessel is a Wheel-thrown, rounded belly tapering to narrow mouth vases in Soft celadon to cream, glossy, subtle green drift on shoulder glaze, handmade at Mita Pottery Studio, Rakkar, Himachal Pradesh. ₹350. One of one.
A small vessel for a single stem. A wildflower from the Rakkar road, or nothing at all — it holds both well. There is something about a rounded form with a narrow mouth that asks you to slow down, to choose carefully what goes inside.
Wheel-thrown with a full, rounded belly that narrows to a modest mouth, the walls are smooth and confident. The celadon glaze drifts from cream at the base to a soft green across the shoulder, applied in a single dip with the colour moving gently as it fired to around cone 6. Small iron specks in the clay body surface through the glaze, grounding the softness.
